Meet Bob Wolfman, Director of Underwriting for Quikstone Capital Solutions
Bob started with Quikstone Capital Solutions in May of 2015. He is from Wisconsin and earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh . Bob came to Florida in 1984. He has had many years as a manager and underwriter and has been in the credit field since 1980. Since then he owned his own mortgage company in Pinellas County, Florida.
Bob enjoys communicating with merchants, agents as well as our outstanding sales staff. “Understanding the needs of each group is essential to creating a winning environment where everyone knows we are all working toward common goals” Bob said.
His team approach to management begins by asking his staff how they can best perform their respective jobs. He believes that the people doing the job every day are best suited to know how to get the most accomplished. Bob said “by empowering people to develop their own plans, it gives them ownership of their jobs, and promotes a can do attitude within the team. Recognizing how we can all work together for a common goal gives me the most job satisfaction.”
In Bob’s spare time, he enjoys boating with family and friends. He is a Tampa sports enthusiast and enjoys all of the local teams. He also likes engaging in sports as well as watching them! He is in a bowling league and also likes to play golf and tennis. He has a great family with 2 grown kids, both of which he says he is very proud of.
Meet Bill Krautler, Relationship Manager for Quikstone Capital Solutions
Bill moved to Florida from Maryland in 1992. He was in the US Navy from 1993 – 1995 and traveled throughout the Mediterranean and the Persian Gulf. Thank you for your service Bill!
When he returned home, he first worked for Sun Jet Airlines and Xerox Corp. He then moved into a couple different sales jobs and ultimately started working as an ISO (Independent Sales Office) for Sterling Payment Technologies in February 2003. His work later transitioned into a Sales Support role working directly for the company and then in 2007, Bill moved to Quikstone Capital Solutions. Like Flora, Bill also “wears several hats” and is always ready to provide the most top notch service to our merchants and sales agents. He assists merchants and agents in the boarding process from start to finish and assists in an underwriting role as well.
Bill’s hobby is photography and he truly loves taking photos of people, events and sports. He has even worked with other photographers at pro NFL games. One time, when asked “Bill, did you see that last play Dallas made?” he replied “Oh, is Dallas playing?”. He gets totally immersed in whatever he is photographing.
Besides giving excellent service to our merchants, Bill says he enjoys the close working relationships with his Quikstone Capital Solutions coworkers.
Meet Flora Galvez, Lead Underwriter for Quikstone Capital Solutions
Flora has been with Sterling since April 2008. She was born in Texas, raised in East Chicago and moved to Florida in late 1993. Prior to coming to Sterling, Flora worked in the Insurance industry for about 14 years. During that time she did underwriting and claims adjusting. She started off at Sterling as an Assistant Underwriter and has progressed to Lead Underwriter, her current position.
Flora works directly with agents and merchants. She speaks fluent Spanish so she is often called upon by Sales or anywhere during the underwriting process when translation from Spanish to English is needed. Flora said it could take up a whole blog article if she listed everything that she actually does J, but she most enjoys the customer service aspect of the position. She tries to treat others as she’d like to be treated and tries to put herself in the shoes of the merchant. Flora is always smiling and this comes through in the way she treats merchants.
Flora has a son in college, a daughter in high school and many close family members in Florida but she says “Sterling is my home away from home and my second family”.
Meet Chris Panariello, Relationship Manager for Quikstone Capital Solutions
Chris was born and raised in the Port Richey/New Port Richey, Florida area and has been with Quikstone since April 2007. Prior to Quikstone, Chris also worked with another credit card processor and also in a supervisory position at a call center for Federated Department Stores.
Since coming to Quikstone, Chris has filled several roles including Merchant Services, Tech Support, Sales Support, Compliance, PCI Compliance, and Pricing. He has been with Quikstone Capital Solutions Underwriting for a little more than 2 years.
Chris’ role is to assist in the Underwriting of each merchant file. Often he speaks with the merchant and/or their references and resolves any unanswered questions. Chris likes to see deals get done and will do what it takes to help expedite the underwriting, allowing a faster turnaround time to fund the merchant.
Chris finds the most rewarding part of the job is when a merchant genuinely appreciates the funding and expresses how it has helped them. "Many businesses don't have collateral, especially in the early years. Those who do may not want to risk it if they don't have to."
Chris currently lives in Pasco County, Florida with his wife and son.
